Opus Lumière

Opus Lumière is Joy and Annie — a boutique fine-art photography studio in London with over ten years’ experience, specialising in maternity, newborn, family and couples photography, and model portfolios. Joy works behind the camera; Annie is the creative eye, shaping the theme, guiding what to wear and directing every pose — so one of us is always with you, and you’re never left to pose yourself, even if you’ve never felt comfortable in front of a camera. Both of us are at every session.

We photograph in a professional hire studio in Hackney Central, on location, or in the comfort of your own home — working throughout London, from Hackney and Canary Wharf to Greenwich, Islington and beyond. Sessions run seven days a week and start from £225, newborn sessions are always gentle and safety-led, and every booking begins with a free, no-obligation consultation.

Every shoot follows the same five steps — our FOCUS Method — from the first phone call to your finished gallery. We hand-edit every image ourselves and deliver the final set through a private online gallery, ready two to four weeks after you’ve chosen your favourites.

Sessions of two hours or more also include The Growing Gallery: a private 3D virtual gallery your family can walk through, free for two years, that adds a new floor with every shoot — something no other London studio offers, as far as we’re aware.
