Hello! I’m Sarah and I would like to talk to you about my photographic style of working and the way I capture children’s photographs.
For everyone who chooses me to be their photographer, my aim is to make you feel comfortable, happy and welcome. I genuinely love the work that I do and being able to create memories for you to look back on for years to come is so rewarding. Photoshoots take around an hour, but I do allow up to two hours so that the children can settle; each step is taken at a pace to suit your and your family.
My style is relaxed, fun and heartfelt both in the studio and outdoors. Every year I capture the individual school photographs, classes plus their special event days at several of my local schools.
Having two children of my own, I appreciate that there is only a small window of opportunity to capture the best from everyone, even adults! I use a few local areas for outdoor shoots on location, but I am happy to travel to a place of your choice. My travel distances are within a 20-mile radius of my photography studio, please contact Sarah for details. For your reference, I am based in the Derbyshire town of Bolsover.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family and capturing the beautiful landscapes in the Peak District National Park.

Sarah has taken photographs of my children quite a few times now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! She’s great with the kids and always gets amazing photos. Two weeks before my little boys birthday his only thing he wanted for his birthday was a photo of us all for his bedroom. I spoke to Sarah, we arranged a shoot straight away and I had the photos ready before his birthday! When he opened it he said it was his favourite present.

Sarah is an amazing photographer. She has captured photos of both our boys and we were so pleased with the results. She is calm, fun and helped the boys feel relaxed throughout. 100% would recommend for outstanding family photos.

We have used Sarah a few times to capture photos of our whole family (4 generations!) outdoors and also to photograph our kids – not easy with 4 boys age ranges from 1-7!
Sarah is very patient and we have always been happy with the photos received.

Sarah recently did my boys school photos the other week at separate schools, there was the option for them to be pictured together but one of my sons has Autism and I just knew it would be a no go to get my son to settle in a different enviroment let alone have his picture taken 😞 so I’d emailed sarah and explained our circumstances & she’s so kindly edited both boys pictures and put them together for me so it looks like they was pictured together 🥹 I honestly could’ve cried when I recieved it this afternoon, it’s the most beautiful picture and I’m so so greatful for her doing this in her own time. Sarah said this was no trouble at all as she was aware of how much something like this means and as a parent it honestly means the world. I can’t thank Sarah enough for the beautiful picture she has done for me and you honestly couldn’t even tell it has been edited. It’s perfect. So again thank you ever so much 😊
