Hello, I’m a wedding photographer based in York, who is truly devoted to capturing the memories from your wedding day in a creative and romantic way that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. My typical style of photography is vibrant (I love colour!) and fun, yet timeless and romantic, ensuring to make your wedding day as relaxed as possible and as unique as your are.
My other passion is animals, and I believe that each animal has their own individual personality just like humans do. Sadly, our pets are not with us forever, which is why I decided to start offering pet ‘pawtrait’ photography, to capture treasured memories of your furry family members to keep a lifetime.

I couldn’t be happier with Julia and the photos she took of our boys! She really managed to illustrate their personalities in every picture and helped us to capture brilliant memories of them! Cats can be tricky to get on board but Julia had the right personality to keep them on side and entertained. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would definitely recommend Julia for any pictures!
When we met Julia at a wedding fair we knew instantly that we wanted her as our wedding photographer. She was so warm and friendly, I felt like we instantly clicked.
Throughout the wedding planning process Julia was an amazing help, she was always there to answer any questions we had and was very reassuring whenever I would get stressed.
We booked a package which included an engagement photshoot and went back to the place we got engaged. As 2 not naturally photogenic people, Julia made us instantly feel at ease and we loved all the photos from the shoot.
On the wedding day Julia was incredible, all our guests loved her- some even said they would want her as their photographer for their (hopefully) future weddings. She made every effort to get all the photos we asked for and was just generally lovely & fun to have around on the day.
Our photos are a perfect mix of beautiful artistic photographs and candid photos that captured the silliness of our wedding, we certainly have lots of fond memories to look back on.
Julia also photographed our 2 cats, and somehow managed to get them to sit still long enough for some stunning photos.
Julia is a genuinely wonderful person and a talented photographer, we are so glad that we picked her to be our photographer and hope that we remain in touch with her. I would recommend her to anyone you absolutely will not regret it ❤️
